Police at Fresno’s Fashion Fair is the latest in a string of incidents

FRESNO, California (KSEE) – Fresno Police were once again called to Fashion Fair mall on Friday after the latest in a string of incidents at the shopping center.

This time officers said a man flashed a gun and several more firearms were found with his group.

Officers say shortly before 4:00 p.m., security learned a group was smoking inside the mall.

A Fresno Police officer asked them to leave, which they started to do but then got into a verbal exchange with another group.

One teen arrested, two more wanted for shooting outside Fashion Fair Mall, police say

FRESNO, California. (KSEE/KGPE) – Three teenagers who were involved in a shooting outside of the Fashion Fair Mall last week have been identified by officers, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Police say all three suspects are known gang members and have been named as 18-year-old Brandon Soto, 19-year-old Vincent Romo, and 19-year-old Angel Burciaga.

On Friday, April 23, officers were able to track down Romo at a home in Dinuba, where police say he was found with a semi-automatic handgun.

The Schererville Police Department released surveillance images of a group of people they say are stealing beauty supplies and liquor from stores. 




SCHERERVILLE — A group has been stealing liquor and beauty supply products from multiple Schererville businesses on U.S. 41, police said.

On Thursday the Schererville Police Department released surveillance images of the suspects in hopes that the public may be able to identify the individuals.

The series of thefts happened at businesses in the 1000 block of U.S. 41, police said.
