What is Amazon FBA and sku profitability?

Last year sales were up, margins were healthy, and customers appeared to be pleased. However, there is still something nagging you. It’s difficult to pinpoint, but you believe it has something to do with the profitability of a few goods you’re selling. It’s difficult to discern which SKUs aren’t profitable because there are so many different FBA fees, shipping expenditures, and vendor pricing fluctuations to keep track of. That irritates you a lot (for good reason). This makes it important to know about what is seller sku on amazon.

Some could argue that leaving well enough alone is the wisest option. After all, your business is expanding at a breakneck pace. It’s become clear that you’re skilled at stocking (and refilling) decisions in general. That is what distinguishes you. You’re never happy with the way things are. You’re also fully aware of how quickly the Amazon marketplace may shift. You’ve seen a lot of merchants fail, so you’re even more motivated to keep your profit margins strong on everything you offer. When it’s time to refill an item, you’ll be given all of the information you need to make an educated selection (in the context of current Buy Box prices). If an item is lagging, you might want to consider removing it from your inventory.

Take a look at the bigger picture of FBA SKU Profitability.

Do you require extra information before discarding an SKU? No issue; some app provides a more detailed look into an item’s past profitability. You may drill down into more comprehensive details with our SKU Profitability report, such as:

  • Profit earned by SKU as a whole
  • Number of SKUs sold in total
  • SKU-by-SKU sales revenue
  • SKU-level COGS (cost of goods sold)
  • SKU-by-SKU average sale price
  • SKU-by-SKU average margin (and margin percent)

Toggle the date range to focus on the most important time frame. Do you want to see a product’s whole purchase history? Simply move the date picker back to when you first started using RestockPro. You’ll be seeing all activity for that SKU right away (organized by purchase order). Expand your view to see every purchase order associated with a specific SKU.

When you list your products on Amazon, how can you customize the SKU?

It’s simple to change the SKU of your Amazon products; just follow these steps:

1. Go to Inventory > Manage Inventory in Seller Central after logging in. (Click the Plus icon within this window to create a new product.)

2. Click Choose a Product Identifier Type on the left side of the screen under ‘Add/Edit Product,’ then select your identifier type.

3. Fill in the appropriate abbreviations for your product.

4. To finish your product identification, click Save & Finish at the bottom of the window.

It is important to keep in mind that SKUs can only be customized for new listings. A SKU for a listing that has already been created cannot be changed. You may choose not to have a personalized SKU because Amazon will produce one for you automatically. Having customized SKUs, on the other hand, can make a significant impact in the way you keep track of information for your company.
