What is Amazon FBA and sku profitability?

Last year sales were up, margins were healthy, and customers appeared to be pleased. However, there is still something nagging you. It’s difficult to pinpoint, but you believe it has something to do with the profitability of a few goods you’re selling. It’s difficult to discern which SKUs aren’t profitable because there are so many different FBA fees, shipping expenditures, and vendor pricing fluctuations to keep track of. That irritates you a lot (for good reason). This makes it important to know about what is seller sku on amazon.

Some could argue that leaving well enough alone is the wisest option. After all, your business is expanding at a breakneck pace. When you list your products on Amazon, how can you customize the SKU?

It’s simple to change the SKU of your Amazon products; just follow these steps:

1. Go to Inventory > Manage Inventory in Seller Central after logging in. (Click the Plus icon within this window to create a new product.)

2. Click Choose a Product Identifier Type on the left side of the screen under ‘Add/Edit Product,’ then select your identifier type.

3. Fill in the appropriate abbreviations for your product.

4. To finish your product identification, click Save & Finish at the bottom of the window.

It is important to keep in mind that SKUs can only be customized for new listings. A SKU for a listing that has already been created cannot be changed. You may choose not to have a personalized SKU because Amazon will produce one for you automatically. Having customized SKUs, on the other hand, can make a significant impact in the way you keep track of information for your company.
