Alright hey everyone, I’m fred davenport with the W. V. Tm. 30 minutes Jazz for kelly from Bessemer Alabama. She’s joining us today to talk about her upcoming pop up shop. She is the owner of 2 22 fashion Rx and Miss jasmine. First off just tell us about the event and what should people expect when they come. Yes so the fire nice pop up shop is gonna be on January 16, it’s gonna be a Concordia banquet hall. This event is gonna be like full of realtors and bankers as well as other small businesses throughout the city. It’s an amazing networking event. You can come out and you can kind of, you’re thinking about starting a business kind of picked different business owners brains as well as kind of learn about different brands and different businesses that’s in the city as well as surrounding cities. This is something I do every year. So it’s an annual thing and I always like to come home and kind of shine light on the different vendors throughout the city. So January 16, 2 according to Borrow one. So you said you put on a lot, you’ve done a lot of pop up shops. So what would be different, how is this going to be different than the other? So I host to a year in the city of Birmingham. Um the one in the winter is always fire and ice because the fire is the hottest popping vendors throughout the city and it’s in the winter time. Winter is kind of weird for business honest because it’s usually like our non peak season because we’re coming out of christmas and black friday and thanksgiving and stuff like that. So it’s an opportunity for people to feel talk about their brand, get their brand out there as well as meet new faces even after the holiday season. Yeah, yeah, you’re really giving local business owners an opportunity really to, you know, sell their products, you know, you put them in, putting them in a different spot line, different opportunities, better opportunities for them to agree. I totally agree. Um some of my vendors are returning vendors and a lot of my vendors are also the first time vendors, I like to do returning vendors also getting new business owners the chance as well to kind of be in the spotlight and show what they have to offer throughout the city, you know, I want to be entertained. So tell us about the entertainment. Oh yeah, so we got entertainment DJ tray is gonna be uh DJ in the event. Um chris Campbell, he’s going to be the host of the event, so he’s gonna be hosting it on the mike, I don’t know, have you ever interacted with chris Campbell before? But he’s full of energy, like super, super energetic and I mean just upon time each year it survived. It’s, it’s, it’s, it’s it’s just a good time. We laugh. We, we dance, we talk and we talk business and we just, it’s like a family reunion, but with businesses. Okay, okay, anything else about your pop up shop that’s coming up? That you want the public to know about it? Yeah. I mean it’s it’s kid friendly. We’re gonna have stuff for kids there as well. Um, We also cater to the kids. So I mean it’s going to be more Luther king weekend. Nobody has to work that monday. So come out, bring the kids for the entire family and just have a good time. We’re gonna have a concession stand. So we’re going to have something for everybody. We thank you, Jasmine for taking time to talk to us.
